Heat and defrost matter more here than A/C does for a good chunk of the year. A failing heater core or a blower motor that's on its way out is a genuine safety issue when temperatures drop below zero for weeks at a time in Spearfish and Lead — a cold cab isn't just uncomfortable, it's dangerous on a long stretch of I-90 or up Spearfish Canyon. A defroster that can't keep up is worse: if it can't clear your windshield fast enough on US-85 in a snow squall, you're driving partially blind. We won't just recharge a leaking A/C system and send you off. A recharge that leaks out in three weeks isn't a repair, it's a refund waiting to happen. If there's a leak, we find it and quote the actual fix.
Pressure test and leak check for A/C, coolant and airflow check for heat, before touching refrigerant or parts.
